Neil Mackay - Managing / Financial Director
• Qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Company's auditors.
• Joined CIE-Group in 1983 as Financial Controller, with ultimate responsibility for administration, warehousing and stock control departments.
• Implemented extensive computerisation with full supply chain management software and strengthened financial controls.
• A key contributor to the Management-led Buy Out in April 1993. Elevated to the now UK-only Board as Financial Director.
• 2010: Adopted combined role as Financial Director/Managing Director.
Steve Collin - Group Sales Director
• Previously i-ceilings manager for UK and Ireland for Armstrong World Industries working in close partnership with CIE-Group.
• 2006: Joined CIE-Group as Head of Sales to formulate and implement global strategic sales and marketing plans. Responsible for field and inside sales teams.
• 2010: Elevated to the Board as Group Sales Director, overall responsibility for global strategic planning and implementation.
Chris Edwards - Marketing Director
• Joined CIE-Group in 1995, to bring all marketing communications and services in-house.
• Co-ordinated the transformation of Canadian Instruments and Electronics to the 'new look' CIE-Group.
• 2000: Promoted to marketing manager
• 2006: Elevated to Head of Marketing to formulate and implement global marketing strategies
• 2010: Elevated to the Board as Marketing Director, responsible for marketing strategy, communications, online & CRM, promotion and recruitment.
Jon Doar - Commercial Director
• Joined CIE-Group in 1985 as a Warehouse Operative.
• Transferred to Audio Sales Division in 1991 - working at the Sales Desk processing enquiries and customer enquiries.
• Promoted to Sales Office Supervisor, then Office Manager, in 1995 with responsibility for overseeing internal sales and administration for CIE-Audio.
• 1999 promoted to Divisional Manager, responsible for internal and external sales teams, new product/market developments, customer service and technical back-up.
• 2006: Product Manager - Audio Visual. Responsible for portfolio development, sourcing and procurement of audio visual product range, supplier liason and market research.
• 2010: Elevated to the Board as Commercial Director, responsible for complete AV portfolio and supplier liaison.
Kevin Sherwood - Field Sales Director
• Joined CIE-Group in 1984 as a Service & Repair Technician
• Transferred to Audio Sales Division in internal sales
• Promoted to Audio Field Sales to develop the Midlands territory with great success.
• 2002: Promoted to Business Development Manager on a 'special projects' basis. Most recently developed the UK market for the i-ceilings product range.
• 2006: Increased territory to develop market throughout mainland Europe.
• 2010: Elevated to the Board as Field Sales Director, responsible for the UK-wide field sales team.
Ben Yeardley - Business Development Director
• 2000: Joined CIE-Group in internal sales for the Components Division.
• 2003: Promoted to Projects Specialist to develop bespoke cabling and connectivity range.
• 2007: Promoted to Projects Manager for the Cable & Connector portfolio.
• 2010: Elevated to the Board as Business Development Director, responsible for sales development, portfolio and supplier liaison in the connectivity sector.
Richard Tyrrell - Technical Services Manager
• 25 years as an engineer in the electronics industry, holding positions such as Project Engineer, Telecoms Engineer, Calibration Engineer
and Manager.
• Joined CIE-Group in 1989 as Technical Supervisor.
• Instigated Engineering operation within the Company along with the creation of the Workshop.
• Promoted to Divisional Manager in 1992; overseeing the Technical Services
Division in design and manufacture of specialised products, audio rack systems, re-manufacture of stock items to customer specifications, along with the service, repair and technical support for all product ranges.
